Question:

Can I learn vibrato on my own?

I want to be able to sing vibrato, but I just can't. I don't want to take any lessons though. I'm 13 years old. Does my singing voice have to mature a little, or can I learn right now?
And does anyone ever think about the fact that Lebo M's voice doesn't have any vibrato in it? That's weird.

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: I don't believe it's healthy to develop a vibrato on your own. It's better if you let it natrually come because you could end up pushing your sound just so you can have the vibrato and it could sound nasty.

Also, I think vibrato comes in when your voice starts to mature more, maybe? Plus, you should enjoy singing without having to control a vibrato, cause when you get older it'll get harder and harder.

Good luck with that! :]
