join a band?

Question:

How do i start/join a band?

I can play the guitar fairly well and sing really well (I hope) because i've been singing since forever, BUT I have no idea what to do if i want to START a band. Because a) I'm kinda young and b) I dunno if I should have, like, auditions or whatever.

And if I can't start a band, how do you think I should join one? I really have no idea who to ask about these things... so yeah...

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Take ur guitar and take it somewhere public and play it. If electric try and sneak it into a school science project. Testing Frequency of the strings or something. Tell your friends you play and tell them your interested in starting a band. When you get famous give me a call and i'll come be your roadie.
