How do I take out a string and put in a new one on my acoustic guitar?

How do I take out a string and put in a new one on my acoustic guitar?

I'm a complete newbie to guitar, how do I take out one (that I kind of over-did the tuning on...) and put in a new one? Also, should I replace all of them if I have to do this one too? And which strings are better for newbies?
