I'm doing an audition for Guys And Dolls Junior, and I am going for the role of Adelaide, anybody have any tip

Adelaide is the character with the new york accent, and i am having sum trouble with it and singing with the accent, can anybody help me?

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Stick Kleenex in your bra and pull it out while your singing and pretend to sneeze. If you aren't great at the accent, be great at the acting. She's the type of character you should play the minute you walk into the room...never step out of character. Have fun.
