Poem number 3, fire away :)?

Destinies Battle

Darkness came, and daylight wept
Promises I could have kept
Are hollow lies inside of me
That fill my heart, but not with glee
This I know, all too well
Life can be a living Hell
Death will come for all who wait
Death will come for all but hate
Time stands still and life drags on
And then one day your life is gone
But still you ponder as you say
Could I have lived life a different way

Light has come and night has fled
A joyous clearing of my head
Wondrous melodies fill my heart
From which I hope to never part
Life??s Golden Gate I now can see
Opening in front of me
Has fate found us? I couldn??t say
I wouldn??t care to ask any way
Time moves on, as in times past
Time moves on, but not too fast
And now I know life should be spent
With truth and love, not contempt
