Scales on violin?

Any tips for reaching the highest notes on a three octave F major scale? How about coming back down and/or arpeggios?

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: curve your elbow outwards (to the right) as you go higher and higher on the fingerboard. it shifts everything so you have more access to the notes. curve your fingers as best you can to achieve the right sound.
