Should I get a new vocal teacher?

I wanted to take lessons bcause I want to sing for a career. I have been told I have the voice, but not all the skill. I have had this vocal teacher for a month now. I don't feel I have improved. The usual lesson goes: She checks that I did my assignment in my theroy book. We do thirds for warm ups, but she never corrects my pitch. I am not sure if I was to high or low. Then we sing a song out of a book to a CD. When I sing is she supposed to correct me? She never does. That is how every lesson so far has gone. She tried to teacher me breathing on the first day, but I already knew it. What else should she be teaching me besides how to sing to a CD?
