Question:

Who can help me out with a Monologue..?

I half to do a monologue, as if i am a bar-tender, and im a bar tender who just had a costomer who his girlfriend just cheeted on him when he got back from war, i half to say things lie "oh, i get alot of costmers like this blah blah blah..." ect.. i need help plz!

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: I don't know how to help except to say... block it and don't use the director or teacher as "the bar guy". The back wall or just to the side of the center of the back wall are good focal points. If you need to pantamime make sure to be consistant. That is the most difficult part of acting without props, but if you can get this it will add to your scene.

Make sure to plot out what this "stranger" is saying... so as you speak you can 'be him' in your head responding to your lines. This will help you to act like the bar tender. Bar tenders are usually known for their listening. They get the drunken tales that someone may never tell if they were sober. A bar tender has 'heard it all before'.

Hope this gives you a place to start.
