If you are attending a Senior Music Recital for a Saxophone player graduating from college, is it proper to give flowers after the recital? ... does it make a difference if the performer is Male or Female?

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: It is proper to give flowers, if you want to do so. You must wait until the entire recital is over though. It is considered rude to leave after hearing ONLY the person you are there for, if they are playing solo.
Also, as with any performance, turn off cell phones, pagers, etc.

As to flowers, I don't think it makes a difference, but the person receiving it might. You may want to check with family or friends to see if the person receiving will appreciate the flowers.
