Does anyone know how to start a theatre company?

I finish my schooling this year and i want to be a theatre producer/ director of my own company

Find volunteers who will work on the sets. lighting and background.

Get some actors who will work with each other.

Secure a place to perform well in advance.

Find a place to do all your printing (tickets, fliers, programs, etc.)

Get as much donated in props and costumes as possible and store it somewhere safe. Donate or sell what you don't use.

Organize fund raisers in conjunction with your local community.

Get a time-frame going for your first prodcution. Plan rehearsals, understudies if possible, construction for the set. Coordinate access to buildings so work can get done and practice can ensue.

Find prosepctive investors who want to better the community.

Adhere to local laws and ordinances.

Don't be afraid to ask people for help and assistance.

Don't give up.
