How do you know if a talent angency is lagit?

there is a modleing/singing/acting/dancin... thing at a hotel and it's an open call and i really think i can do it but i don't want to be scammed. Also I'm not rich and i'm plus size, but i can sing. really good too i think i can do it, but will being middle calss and plus size hurt my cahaces i'm not ugly i kinda look like a mini Gueen latifa lol

If they say "You have talent but you need to take our classes" not legit.
