Question:

I want to be a club DJ.?

Theres a Radio/Tv Broadcasting course at a local college, would this be a good course to take to learn the essentials of being a DJ? After college I plan to pursue it as a career with a friend of mine also interested in music production. A radio apprenticeship is offered to students with recommendation by teachers, would this be a good thing for me to? Will it teach me the basics of DJing while I spend the rest of my time experimenting on my own?

As of yet I have never DJ, or owned equiptment aside from a keyboard. I have no expericene as a DJ.
