Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: My second year playing my clarinet, I challenged to get the second seat in my section. I got so nervous that I started hyperventilating. Not good, because I didn't take my clarinet away from my mouth, and I had forgotten to tighten the ligature all the way, so my reed came out from under it and I started to choke on it.

It's actually pretty funny now. Wasn't then, but hilarious now.
