You would probably want one that shows a change in emotion and your ability to be out there with your character. Nobody wants to sit through two minutes of "oh my gosh my life is so sad. Im a loser. Im gonna go cry." By contrast, emotional monologues are good, but you don't want a--dare I say--emo monologue for a famous part like the prince in cinderella. you should probably also demonstrate your ability to be "romantic" without being corny, a feat which very few people seem to be able to do. |
