Can a performer be nominated multiple times in the same category in the same year at the oscars?

for e.g. getting 2 nominations for 2 movies in the best actress or best actor category.
if so what is the maximum no. of nominations one performer can get?

There is no limit to how many nominations someone may receive in a category in the same year.
