If I want to study Vocal Music in college, do I need to know how to play the piano? And play the piano at the audition?

I recommend taking some lessons before you get to college. It'll be cheaper and you won't have to take Class Piano. All singers should have a basic knowledge of the fundamentals of music. And it doesn't hurt at all for them to play the piano, because then they can teach themselves their music. They won't depend on anyone else to teach them their music that way!
