Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: There appear to be no complaints against that organization through the better business bureau, but some professionals say that you should not pay for representation or job opportunities. A "relative of a relative" of mine had a baby a handful of years ago who modeled for the Sears catalog--but that was through a modeling agency that charged no upfront fees. Nor were there any classes or talent competitions. J.C. Penney even posts a list of the modeling agencies that they use (link below).

I would be wondering how someone could refer to "children just like yours" when the e-mail was apparently unsolicited. How would they know who was similar or dissimilar to my child?
