Do you know anyone that has endured more then you can fathom and still keeps a deep faith in GOD?

What happen to them? how long did it last? what do you think is the key to there great faith

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Two years ago my father was Called to Iraq, and i was forced to live with my abusive mother for a year. During this time I was subject to many forms of abuse. I was left home alone for weeks at a time, without anyone checking on me, During the Winter one night she threw me out and i was forced to sleep out side in 30 degree temperatures. She would tell me almost Daily that I was a scum, and no one loved me, and that she hated me. It came to a Point where she could no longer take physical possessions, so she would call ,my friends and tell them not to associate with me. That turned up short so She then Began calling my friends parents and telling them the same thing. I lost many good friends because of her... This continued until One night she claimed My father was cheating on her (while he was 5000 miles away in Iraq) with my girl friends mom. She called the Police on me, and tried to have me arrested saying i ran away. This would have happened if not For my grandfather intervening and having custody of me granted to him. This all happened to me While i was 12. In due time my Father returned home from Iraq and i now reside with him. My mother has recently been institutionalized and is receiving mental treatment. Having gone through this tyranny I feel i have had my faith in the Lord straightened. I Pray every night, and firmly believe in Lord our God and His Son Jesus Christ.
