Community theaters in Chester County area of PA.?

Community theaters in Chester County area of PA.?

Does anyone know if there are any community theaters around the Chester County area in PA. that have a role for a teenage ? I love acting...and have been looking for a place that needs a role for my age. But the actors that they need are all s!!! Does anyone have any suggestions with acting and finding places to do it?

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: I'm not sure about Chester County, but I've done many shows at Pennsylvania Playhouse.

The quality of their productions is beyond any of the other community theaters I've performed in, and they always have roles for children, teens, and adults of all ages of. The best way to start is to audition for one of the "family musicals" they have in the summer and winter.

The last show I did was "Annie," and the girl who got the lead just wanted to be an orphan! I was Miss Hannigan...
