Best Answer - Chosen by Asker:
Nigeria had the biggest involvement of any African nation with 22% of the total slaves originating from Nigeria 8,800,000 people were abducted there during the trans-Atlantic trade!.

The effects left more damage of separations of different ethnic groups allowing colonization to be easy for Europeans who then created the country Nigeria by putting together these already distanced ethnic groups!. Today in Nigeria there are 148 million people and over 250 different ethnic groups!. This brings no sole unity biased and corrupt governments its the 38th richest country in the world richer than Portugal yet most of the countries populaiton are not entitled to earn this but the governments are millionaires!. Those ties with eacother were severed during the slave times and have a long way till they are gone and the current day situation of 250 different groups magnify a countries problems all routing to the trans atlantic slave trade!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
