Lol. :-) Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: It's a kind of a pun, but Brown might be amusing. An old nickname for Elizabeth is Bess, and the standard issue musket in the 18th century for both the British and American armies was called a Brown Bess. I can imagine a character finding references to her as Bess Brown, when delivered with a smirk, being irritated. Just off the top of my head, Bess Brown defending her honor with a Brown Bess might be a good ending for a dramatic chapter. |
