Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: unless the person is dead, there should be no way to use their social security number!. If someone IS dead, there are many ways to find the parent's names, and the census is just one!. He should be living with them as a child!.!. of course, they might have died!. It normally will be on a death certificate; military record; social security file (yes, you can order that, after the death); obituary; family letters!. You sometimes can find distant relatives that know his parents!. If you are starting research, I suggest www!.cyndislist!.com (check the beginner area to start)Www@QuestionHome@Com Do a search on the web, everyone has a cousin that they haven't seen in years who has done some of the research already!. in a search engine type in (your last name)+genealogy you can also try (your last name)+family Good LuckWww@QuestionHome@Com |
