Take a few minutes to look, maybe at rootsweb.com, and pull up a family tree for George. Now, look to the 'pedigree' and go back for his grandparents, so forth.
From his grandfather (for example), now click to show "descendents". Trust me, they are out there. Many of these charts will not be complete, anyway, as well.

another route is to use www.familysearch.org, go to searches, and use the census option. This is for 1800 in the US. Use the Washington surname AND filter for only white entries.

Yeah, George's youngest full brother, Charles. They were both sons of Augustine Washington.

Over 3000 born in the UK in the 1800's, I presume the majority would have been white.

It's more common in England. George didn't have any children, and not that many Washingtons came across the pond. His slaves, and freed slaves, often took his name. Many of my white ancestors back then got "Washingon" for a middle name. The dude was very popular. And respected. For proper reasons.

The name has nothing to do with a town that washes clothes, and more with "hunt" "victory."
