Im trying to figure what his parents names were. My grandfather is approx=89 yrs old if he is still alive, his sons both live in Texas also. I believe in the late 50's early 60's, he married patricia diane williams (my grandmother), in which im trying to figure out her parents names also, They had two sons Timothy Dean Scott - D.O.B FEB, 1963 (MY FATHER UNFORTUNATLY) and Mark Anthony Scott D.O.B MAY 1ST 1966 in Texas, I do know that my great grand mother's name was Marie (Patricia's mother) and I guess her married name would have been Williams, I dont know what her maiden name was. I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT WILLIE LEE SCOTT'S PARENT'S NAMES WERE THOUGH.WOULD APPRECIATE ANY HELP! My grandfather was also in the army in THE 50's i believe. Try the web sites below just might help, funny thing is my family history research has taken me to the exact same spot, Good luck and good hunting You really shouldn't have birth dates for living people up. And it sounds as if you don't know whether your grandfather is alive or not, I think you need to make some phone calls. To your uncle, if not your father. There where over 446 Will* Scotts in Texas in the 1930 census, assuming he was even in the state at the time. And on rootsweb.org there are 9 William & Willie Lee Scotts on the Texas death index from 1964-1998. You should call. And delete this question, unless all the people you gave info on are dead. In Genealogy it's better to work from the present to the past. If you still have contact with your mother perhaps you can see if she still has her marriage announcement, it may give more clues about your grandparents. |
