Question:

Gille Ruadh?

I'd quit here, but an overwhelming personal desire to know something is making me act against my reticence.

I would like to know if anyone can tell me a few things.

1. Is the Gille Ruadh mentioned here, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/gille_ruadh... the same person as the one mentioned here, "On the other hand, it does appear that <Gille Ruadh> was in use in the 13th century: it is probably the given name of the man who appears in 1223 in a Latin document as <Gilleroth filius Gillemartin>, in Gaelic <Gille Ruadh mac Gille Mhartainn>."?

2. What is the title of the Latin document mentioned above?

3. Is either person related to Gillroid Gilmartin (mentioned in an unknown, by me, document with a 1467 date) of the Clan Cameron?

4. What are the specfics of their connections to the Clan Cameron, and do they have anything to do with the town or Kilmartin, north west of Carrick, acquiring its name, or are they otherwise connected?
