Question:

Does anyone know the parentage of Freeman Cooper, Maine?

Freeman Cooper was born Dec 1803 in Balltown (now Whitefield), Maine. He married Elizabeth Blackman and they had 9 children - one of which Freeman Jr. was a Baptist Clergyman. I have quite a few descendents of Peter Cooper who came on the Susan and Ellen and I need to know if he is in that line of descent too. Thanks.

IGI has one record listing his parents as Moses Cooper and wife "Alley"

Ancestral File has Moses as the son of Moses Cooper (1743-1830) and Mehitable Clough

That Moses is the son of Leonard Cooper (1706/7-x1785) and Susan Platts

Leonard is the son of Samuel Cooper (1646-1747) and Mary Harriman

Samuel is the son of Peter Cooper (1607-1668) and "Emme". Peter is the immigrant ancestor.

The Maine Historical Society has a book written about the descendency of Peter Cooper:

Cooper, Albion K. P.. Descendants of Peter Cooper of Rowley, Massachusetts. Descendants of Peter Cooper of Rowley, Massachusetts Title page. Portland, Me.: Printed by B. Thurston and Co., 1885.

According to the first paragraph of that book, he did indeed emigrate on the Susan and Ellen in 1635.

Given the longevity of the family in America, I would refer you to the Maine Historical Society and the New England Historical Genealogical Society for more information about each branch of this tree and to verify the IGI listing (IGI being notoriously unreliable since no documentation goes with it). I'm sure the DAR may also have significant records on this family and they do online lookups at http://www.dar.org

It seems unlikely that you won't be able to prove this lineage pretty quickly. Good luck and I hope this helps.
