What is this guys background?

i used to know (not anymore) a guy who looked pretty white/WASPy and his first name was a common english Christian name.

His last name however was Rahme (pronounced Ram) which, according to google searches, seems to be a surname most commonly found in the arab world.

now this guy looked pretty white, but i guess he had a little of a mediterainian tinge (not as much as most italians or greeks though). he looked alot like pro-skater bam margera actually (who is italian-american)

so do you think this guy might be an arab Christian or is "Rahme" also used as a surname in other, more european cultures?

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Could the name have been changed? I find Rahmen as a Swedish name and a slightly different spelling, Rahmien, as a German name. It's amazing how names were spelled and misspelled over the years.
