My grandpa once told me that my last name was changed when his grandpa came to the u.s.I dont remember what he said my original last name was but it was nothing like it is now.How would i find out what my last name was?Ive been to ancestory.com and found nothing.

Have you done the basic search from yourself, to parents, to grandparents, etc? What you need to do is zoom in on the person who did the actual immigrating... his details, such as birth, marriage, death, census, NATURALIZATION??? In looking for his specifics, you should run into something that gives the original spelling.
