i am looking for the obituary for angelita baesa of odessa. what year was her birth date?

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Was Angelita Baesa a married name? The reason why I ask is that I found a marriage record for Angelita R. Lerma who married Candelario M Baesa on July 2, 1974 in Andrews County, Texas. She was 37 at the time of this marriage which would have put her date of birth about 1937.

From this marriage I found two children. Jessie and Santos Jessie was born in 1957 and Santos in 1961. Based on the dates of the marriage I found and the dates of these childrens births, it is likely that this is a second marriage to Candelario. They are both listed as the parents to the two children as well.

I then consulted the Texas birth index. I found plenty of Angelita Lermas, but none who were born in the five year span between 1935 and 1940 which suggests to me that she was likely not born in Texas.

I then found something interesting. I found the obituary of her mother, Patricia Rodriguez Lerma. She passed away on August 3, 2002 in Midland County, Texas. Her obituary clearly lists Angelita as a daughter who survived her. It also states that Patricia was Catholic and born in Chihuahua, Mexico. It doesn't say this, but perhaps she married and had some of her kids there. Here is her obituary.
