I'm trying to find information about my aunt who lived in New York.?

My aunt died when I was very small, my parents have been able to tell me a little about her but I want to find out more about who she was and I want to find some stuff on my own. She left on bad terms with most of the family and changed her name before she left the state for New York, then moved home right before she died. She has no obit and nothing comes back on a google search that has anything to do with her. Any advice on what I should try next?

I know my aunt did not marry though she may have dated someone. She was born in the 50s and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah and moved to New York and lived in Midtown at somepoint in the 70s. She returned to Utah in the early 90s and died at that time. Her plot is pretty far away from me and the cemetary where she was buried does not offer information about their occupants.
