Desperately trying to track down the descendants of a great Italian grandmother I supposedly have.?

How can I find out her name, and then get the details of the lost part of my family I hopefully have somewhere out there. A search method that costs nothing would be preferable, of course.

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Your great-grandparents' names should be on your grandparents' birth, death, and marriage certificates. See if someone in your family already ahs the certificates. If not, start hunting them down in the locations where their births, deaths, and marriages took place.
