They named people by certain things and now those are last names. The very fact you are a mix. Came from the Indian parent who said "he is white" So he should be called white. [ or half bred.] I think that was a name given to half breds. White cloud is a last name and wolf and Fox. But that was reserved for children who were all Indian. |
