My mother's birth certificate states her mother as Croatan Indian..any body else

My mother's birth certificate states her mother as Croatan Indian..any body else out there know of anyone..

else, perhaps family members that have this in their family line? Yes, we are from NC.

I am from Robeson County, raised among the Lumbee's, they as a community do not claim the Croatan Indians as their ancestors, they claim to be from the Tuscarora Indians. I have attended Pow-Wows (Lumbee Tribal Celebrations) and am really familiar with the Lumbees. I am lookin for other people with documented proof of being descended from the Croatans. THANKS!!!! You all have been helpful so far!
