Question:

James Connolly an Irish Revolution Hero, please provide info and descendants if any?

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: James Connolly, one of the seven signatories of the 1916 Proclamation of Irish Independence was arrested and sentenced to death by firing squad after the 1916 Easter Rising.
There are many reference sites, some of which I have listed below.

Connolly had two brothers, John and Thomas; James was the youngest in the family.

It is mentioned that James and his wife Lillie (nee Reynolds) had six children. I can only find reference to four daughters, Nora, Mona, Aideen, and Fiona and one son.
Mona, aged thirteen, died from severe burns,
Nora born in 1893 married Seamus O'Brien and was herself very active in the cause of Irish freedom. She died in 1981
Fiona Connolly born 22 August 1907. Died 1976.
Fiona was married on 28 March 1934 to Leonard Frederick Wilson, with whom she shared active membership in the British Labour Movement. Fiona was a lifelong supporter of the Labour Party - a legacy from her father. She had one child, a son, Roderic J.C. Wilson, born in Dublin in September 1936.
Lillie gave birth to their sixth child, Roderick, in February 1901.
