Question:

Where can I find out whether my great-grandparents divorced, is there somewhere on line that holds the divorce

papers or details.

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: A divorce is a civil lawsuit. You won't find it anywhere online because it's held by the courts. What you can do is contact the Clerk of the Court for the county where they lived when they divorced and get the case number and copy of the decree. It is public record. But you can't do it on the internet...it will have to be personal contact. They're funny that way.
