They will send a kit to do testing for Y and mitochondrial DNA. But what is more exciting is that they plan in the future to build an autosomal database which is what most of our DNA is. We get autosomal 50-50 from both parents. When they do that those databases will explode.

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Talk about giving away all rights of privacy. Once our DNA is banked it's only time before insurance companies start using it to rate policies or deny coverage just because of "genetic predispositions". It's a very dicey game to play. Count me out...and I use to be a Medical Records manager. I have no doubt this will be the next step in identity theft and loss of personal rights.
