Question:

John William Oswald Rogers, who is his parents?

I have been asked by his daughter to find who his parents were, I know he was born in 1923 and I believe he was born in or about Oswestry, I am lead to believe he married Eliza but Eliza who?
I was ment to find out some time ago but due to illness and personal reasons it has not been done. I am due to see his daughter tomorrow.
Is there any way I can find out ASAP, as I am in Somerset, it is not easy to pop into a records office.

I have checked ancestry.co.uk. Unfortunately the only record there relating to this gentleman is his death record. It confirms that he was born on 18 June 1923. He died in January 1984 in Shrewsbury. There is no birth record or marriage record. (This is not unusual - many of my relations are not on the ancestry.co.uk records either.)
