My Geneology?

I am trying to research my families geneology. I started doing this because acording to my grandfather from my dads side we are the last of the Hurst's from NewZealand. I want to find out if this is true, but to do this I need a geneology search but the only reliable ones you have to pay for and I dont exactly have the money to do so, and most cant do it with out the name of an ancestor of which I have none. Do you know of any thing that can help me.

Rootsweb.com and familysearch.org. Cyndislist.com has a lot of links however you may not find what you are looking for on any website. Try your local LDS center. They may be able to help you also. Your local library usually has a subscription to ancestry.com and heritagequest.com. You can use those at your library for free.
