Hernfried Stone was born in Sweden 11/22/1896, his parents were Carl & Mary Stone. The Stone family migrated to Spokane Washington. Their son Hernfried/Henfried Stone moved to California and worked for the LAPD for 21 years. The death certificate for Mr. Stone for 3/29/1968 gives a Patricia Stone 5100 Coringa Dr. Los Angels, Ca. 90042. Stone's SS# was 570-20-3628.

Hernfried Stone aka Henfried Stone is buried at Pierce Brothers Vahalla Memorial Park Cemetary,In NorthHollywood/Burbank, Ca. Lot #4, Sect. 119.

Mr. Stone's family is desperately trying to connect with any remaining relatives in the U.S.

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: I would start with the LA Times and see if there was an obituary for him that listed the names of his children/grandchildren. Then go through the old city directories to try to locate them based on what you find in the obituary. The LAPD Pension Board might be able to tell you the names of survivors, if you tell them you're doing genealogy research. Just don't make it sound like a fishing expedition or they'll invoke privacy privilege on you.
