Does anyone belong to The Daughters of the American Revolution?

My mother always told me that I could join, because my relatives fought in the war. But now she has passed away. I don't know how to join and if they trace your ancestor for you. If someone belongs please let me know.

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Yes, I'm a member. My grandmother joined me up when I turned 18. It's a family pride thing, I guess. I dunno, I find it silly.

Anyways, the burden of proof is on you. You have to prove your linear descent from a soldier who fought in the Revolutionary War.
