My husband and I are trying to find either and obituary or burial information on his father in LA. They only reason we know it is there is from a SS death record online, but we can not find any more information. any good ideas out there?

You might want to go ahead and order his death certificate. If you do that, it should list the cemetery that he is in. You will also know his regular mailing address which should help you zero in on which newspaper reported his death.
