Does anyone have a grandfather born in the 1800's?

Question:

Does anyone have a grandfather born in the 1800's?

Mine was born in 1883 and he was 14 when the composer Brahms died. My mother remembers him telling her about it. BTW I'm only 25. Who else has a simular geneology?
