Question:

A simple genealogy question?

simple question...

my dad>> child child
my dads (dad) Grandpa >> child child (dad)
my Grandpa's dad (great grandpa)>>> child child (grandpa)
my Great Great Grandpa >> child child (Great Grandpa)

my question is: my Great Great Grandpa's children, are they my Great Great Great Uncles/Aunts or Great Great Uncles/Aunts or are they something else?

Also, whatever they are, what are their children to me?

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Try this:

Grandaunt is sister of your grandparent.
Great-grandaunt, sister of your great-grandparent.

Grandparents in common, 1st cousins.
Great-grandparents in common, 2nd cousins.
If your grandparent is your relative's great-grandparent, that's first cousin once removed.

Hope this helps!
