Question:

How to follow up with persons who ask questions?

Heads up, people! Genealogy is unique, because we might find an answer to your question after you have "closed" the replies. I can add someone as a contact... but that still does not mean I can send a personal comment. My profile includes an email contact, but that doesn't help if others don't send a message.
I enjoy the points, but more interested in really getting the right info to someone.
Does anyone have a way to reach someone who does not show an email address? Or a way to let persons know it is useful?

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Unfortunately there isn't a way to contact people who don't allow emails etc. BUT i do have a trick you can try.. all our Yahoo ID names are also our IM address names. so if you go to your IM and select actions then select send an IM select other and enter the Yahoo ID.. and send your message. they may not be on line but it will show as an offline one. and if that doesn't work don't worry too much about it, cause there are lots of people who you can help instead!
