Is kristin kreuk's mother 100% chinese or not? If she was 100% chinese, kristin kreuk would not have gotten hazel eyes, would she?

i've been told (right here on yahoo answers) that a person who is 100% "asian" - ie. they do no have any recessive or light colored eye genes, cannot have a light-colored-eye child, regardless of what ethnicity the other parent is.

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: I have a friend who's mother is Asian (black hair, dark eyes) and who's father is white (blond hair, blue eyes) and my friend has dark hair and green eyes. So whoever told you that an Asian person couldn't have a child with light colored eyes no matter what the ethnicity is of the other parent is WRONG.
