The Lexington Herald-Leader only keeps obituaries online for one year. After that they have contracted with Legacy.com to archive them and make them available online (for a price, of course). Your other alternative is to get someone to volunteer to go down to the library in Lexington for you and copy the obit off microfilm, or call the funeral home that handled the arrangements and ask them to mail a copy to you. They handled the placement of the obit, so they keep a copy in their records.
