Most of the immigration has taken place in the early 1900s and a quick scan of the New York immigration list of 150 some Draus names shows Polish to be the dominant nationality though German is second and then a little bit of everything else. Hamburg or Bremen was the main point of departure for a majority. The 1920 census shows that most Draus families were in PA or IL |
