Is anyone related to Joseph Maton b.1918 or Percy Ainscough similar age. Both men served in the Black Watch.?

The men served during World War Two and regrettably lost their lives. They would probably be from the Broughty Ferry area. Dundee. No smart alecs please this is a serious question.


Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Just for preliminaries, I used the advanced search at rootsweb's family files, and ran Ainscough and d. in England. There are 20+ entries, but "about" 4 persons shown as submitters. Thus, it is very possible they have Ainscough lineage or relatives, as well as being somewhat familiar with research. These files normally have the email address for the researcher. I did not run Maton.
A 2nd approach might be someone whose focus is history of the Black Watch, who would be very likely to know how and where to access records of specific persons. Using those records would be likely to provide exact info on their home location. Here is such a page-
