I would like to communicate with Valley's & Poirier families in Arnprior, Ontario. How do I find them?

Alphonsine Poirier married Treflie Valley 28 June 1875 in Arnprior. They had a son named Ezra Valley born 6 April 1877 in Arnprior. They moved to the United States and lived in New York 1880. I do not have a clue as to how to find family in Ontario. Need help please. Are you related?
