Question:

How can I find records for a person buried somewhere in Fort Worth. Fort Worth, TX?

Frances

McKillen died in 1958

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Tough one. I went through the Dept of Vital Stats database and there's no death certificate issued for anyone by that name through 1975. BUT I did find one that might be her. There's a "FANNIE C. MCKILLEN" who died 5 Dec 1958
in Tarrant County. The Certificate number is 71483. If you contact the Tarrant Co. Clerk's office, you can order a copy of the death certificate and that will tell you where she is buried.

Then went to the Tarrant County Rootsweb site and searched cemetery transcriptions...there are a handful of McKillens buried at Oakwood cemetery...but no one resembling your lady. It's the only cemetery transcribed with members of that family. So if you think she might be there, you could always call the sexton's office and ask them to snoop around for her in their records.
